Who welcomes you in Cusco

Angie coordinates your project, meets you at the airport and accompanies you throughout your stay. From the first message until the day you go home.

Angie

Hi, I am Angie

A Peruvian passionate about teaching, helping and connecting people.

I am an early-childhood teacher and today I train future teachers. For 12 years I have guided foreign volunteers who come to Cusco to take part in social projects. I have met people from many countries and cultures and shared with them one of the most beautiful experiences there is: arriving somewhere unknown wanting to help, and going home with new friends, lessons and memories for life.

In 2025 I fulfilled one of my dreams: traveling through Europe. That experience made me understand even more how important it is to feel welcomed and accompanied when you are far from home. So when you work with me, you will not be just another volunteer: you will be someone I want to receive, guide and accompany so your time in Cusco is safe, authentic and meaningful.

Welcome to Cusco. Welcome to an experience with purpose.

Helping transforms lives. And I am convinced it can transform yours too.

What everyone asks before coming

Do I need to speak Spanish?

A basic level is enough. The projects say it clearly: language is not a problem. And if you want to improve, you can add Spanish classes to your booking.

What is the minimum stay?

Two weeks in most projects; the Kindergarten asks for four. There is no maximum. If you stay longer than your tourist visa, we guide you with Immigration.

What is the donation to the project?

Five of the projects request a 200 USD donation that goes directly to the organization (food, medicine, materials). If you have lunch at the Children’s Home, it is 100 USD extra.

How do I pay and is it safe?

Once Angie confirms your booking, My booking shows the official payment procedure with the account details and steps to transfer from your country. You upload your receipt right there and it is recorded.

Can I switch projects once in Cusco?

Yes, by talking it over with Angie. What matters is that you contribute where it is most needed and where you feel useful.

Which days do I work?

Monday to Friday, generally mornings (the Children’s Home is afternoons during the school year). Weekends are yours: ideal for the tours.

Stamp your passport

Tell us which project, which dates and which extras you want. We reply with the price and the payment procedure. No commitment.
